On 27 August 2026, a delegation from Thaksin University, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Samak Kaewsuksaeng, Vice President for Research and Innovation, together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Thuanthong Krutchon, Dean of the Management for Development College, Dr. Pittayatorn Kaewkong, Dean of the International College, Dr. Suppachai Sattayanurak, Dean of the Graduate School, and Dr. Khwanchit Suwannoppharat, Assistant to the President for International Affairs, visited Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), Negara Brunei Darussalam.

The visit aimed to exchange knowledge and discuss opportunities for strengthening collaboration between the two institutions in the areas of academics, research, innovation, and capacity building for staff and students. The delegation also explored potential joint activities and initiatives to be undertaken in the future.

The visit to Universiti Brunei Darussalam marks another important step in expanding Thaksin University’s international partnership network and strengthening the exchange of knowledge, research, and innovation at the international level. The collaboration reflects Thaksin University’s commitment to advancing as “The University of Glocalization,” connecting local strengths with global opportunities and fostering meaningful international partnerships for sustainable development.

การเยือนครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้และหารือแนวทางการพัฒนาความร่วมมือระหว่างสองสถาบันในด้านวิชาการ การวิจัย นวัตกรรม และการพัฒนาศักยภาพบุคลากรและนิสิต นักศึกษา ตลอดจนแสวงหาโอกาสในการดำเนินกิจกรรมความร่วมมือร่วมกันในอนาคต
ทั้งนี้ การเยือน Universiti Brunei Darussalam ถือเป็นอีกหนึ่งก้าวสำคัญในการขยายเครือข่ายความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศของมหาวิทยาลัยทักษิณ และส่งเสริมการเชื่อมโยงองค์ความรู้และนวัตกรรมในระดับนานาชาติ ภายใต้แนวคิดมหาวิทยาลัยแห่งการขับเคลื่อนสู่มาตรฐานสากลบนฐานท้องถิ่น
