On August 1, 2022, administrators from Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT), Malaysia, were warmly welcomed by Dr. Khwanchit Suwannoppharat, Acting Assistant to the President for International Affairs, and TSU representatives from relevant faculties, at Thaksin University, Songkhla Campus. The delegation was led by Assoc. Prof. Say Sok Kwan, Vice President for Administration and Internationalization, TAR UMT.

This visit was a great opportunity to discuss possibility collaborations between two universities in terms of student and staff exchange, student internship and research collaboration.

In the afternoon, TAR UMT administrators visited the Institute for Southern Thai Studies. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nathapong Chitniratna, Acting President, together with Assoc Prof. Dr. Suebpong Thammachat, Director of the Institute for Southern Thai Studies, warmly welcomed the distinguished visitors at the Institute for Southern Thai Studies.
